About Jeff
I grew up in Orange County with the privilege attending the #1 academic high-school in California - Whitney High. With a deep rooted love for math, I became the first person in my family to formally attend a University, choosing UC Santa Barbara to be the campus at which I would pursue my bachelors.
I am now a 4th year statistics and data science major interested in breaking into data engineering/data analytics as a career. Having experience with several programming languages, statistical analysis techniques, and consulting, I can show my self to be a valuable asset in may fronts.
I hope to learn from others in my field who have taken the necessary steps towards success and eventually become someone who can teach others.

Learning never stops and I hold a deep interest in mastering new technologies and programming languages that will help me design and develop useful programs in several fields.

Outside of School & work
I highly value work life balance. For me, that means working hard to keep my mind and body healthy so I can thoroughly enjoy spending time with family and friends, continuing in my hobbies, learning more about the subjects I’m passionate. Dedicating time to my academic and professional duties give me the liberty of enjoying my free time to the fullest. Here are some photos that encapsulate what I do in my free time and more about my interests outside of work.
